Imaging Resource have reviewed the new Fujifilm FinePix F50fd - The F50fd is a 12 megapixel update to the F40fd, and features a 12 megapixel 1/ 1.6-inch Super CCD HR sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, a 2.7" screen, digital and mechanical image stabilistion (CCD sensor shift), ISO upto 1600 (at 12mp), 3200 (at 6mp), and 6400 at 3mp, Xd / SD card support, face detection, infra red port, and VGA 30fps video support. "Ultimately, the FinePix F50fd will appeal to previous FinePix owners as well as general point-and-shooters who snap lots of people pictures. We're a little concerned about flash power and range, but if you keep your flash shots wide, and keep your subjects close, the Fujifilm F50fd will do just fine."
