Nikon D60 Digital SLR Review

Nikon D60DPReview have reviewed the new Nikon D60 Digital SLR - an update to the D40x - it features a new dust reduction system, Eye-Sensor, a 10 megapixel sensor, 3fps shooting, takes SD cards, 520 shots battery life, 2.5" screen, however still has the same limitations, in that it doesn't feature exposure braketing, and requires AF-S and AF-I NIKKOR lenses. However, one of the main benefits of the D60 is that it's now available with a new Nikkor AF-S 18-55 DX II VR lens for only £422.

"There's a few nice new features, and bundling the new 'VR' (stabilized) version of the kit lens is a smart move that makes the whole package a lot more appealing, but it's fair to say that the D60 is a subtle upgrade rather than a wholescale reinvention of Nikon's entry-level best-seller."
