Sony Alpha A200 Digital SLR Review
DPExpert have reviewed the new Sony Alpha A200 Digital SLR, an update to the A100, the A200 features a 10.2 megapixel sensor, High sensitivity up to ISO3200, Enhanced Super SteadyShot, Large 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD, Faster, more accurate Auto Focus, and Optional vertical grip for portraits. The camera is available for £404 with kit lens.
"This camera enters a hotly contested field where Pentax, Nikon, Olympus and Canon are the competitors. Nikon and Olympus provide the best budget optics and set the standard. The excellent Pentax K10D is advertised at $1100 with a modest Sigma lens, a true bargain. To even imagine that you can buy a camera with an acceptable 75-300mm lens for $1400 is delusionary. Sony’s superior 70-200mm G lens costs $3200 on its own. This kit is clearly the brainchild of the marketing department where more is always better."
