Nikon D60 Digital SLR Review
Digital Camera Review have reviewed the new Nikon D60 Digital SLR - an update to the D40x - it features a new dust reduction system, Eye-Sensor, a 10 megapixel sensor, 3fps shooting, takes SD cards, 520 shots battery life, 2.5" screen, however still has the same limitations, in that it doesn't feature exposure braketing, and requires AF-S and AF-I NIKKOR lenses. However, one of the main benefits of the D60 is that it's now available with a new Nikkor AF-S 18-55 DX II VR lens for only £422.
"The D60 capitalizes on the strengths of the D40 and adds a few innovative and useful improvements without tampering too much with the basic formula. The D60 (like the D40 and the D40x) is reasonably priced, robustly constructed, incredibly easy to use, and most important of all produces great images, even for absolute beginners."
