Nikon D60 Digital SLR Review

Nikon D60Think Camera have reviewed the new Nikon D60 Digital SLR - an update to the D40x - it features a new dust reduction system, Eye-Sensor, a 10 megapixel sensor, 3fps shooting, takes SD cards, 520 shots battery life, 2.5" screen, however still has the same limitations, in that it doesn't feature exposure braketing, and requires AF-S and AF-I NIKKOR lenses. However, one of the main benefits of the D60 is that it's now available with a new Nikkor AF-S 18-55 DX II VR lens for only £422.

"Those looking to make a first class entry level DSLR purchase need only know that the Nikon D60 is an excellent choice - it's small, light, affordable, easy to use and has enough solid and fun features to get any enthusiast going. Although current Nikon D40x users will probably not feel the need to upgrade, taken on its own merit, Nikon D60 is up there with the best entry level DSLR, if not the best."
