Olympus EVOLT E-420 Digital SLR Review

Photography BLOG have reviewed the new Olympus EVOLT E-420 Digital SLR and pancake lens - the E-420 is an update to the E-410 - it features a new live view auto focus mode, face detection focus, a new 2.7" screen, and is the world's most compact Digital SLR, especially when used with the new f2.8 25mm pancake lens. It is available for £339 body only, £404 with kit lens, £485 with double zoom kit, and £449 with 25mm lens kit.

"With plenty of detail on offer in the images, and even the natural colour setting providing more 'pep' than we're used to seeing from Olympus, the E-420 maintains the good work laid down by its predecessors. So while existing owners don't have quite a compelling enough reason to upgrade, those buying into the Olympus Four Thirds system now will get a reliable performer at a bargain price. Beginners will also relish the ease of use and the lack of bulk and weight normally associated with a DSLR."
