Olympus EVOLT E-420 Digital SLR Review

DPExpert have reviewed the new Olympus EVOLT E-420 Digital SLR - the E-420 is an update to the E-410 - it features a new live view auto focus mode, face detection focus, a new 2.7" screen, and is the world's most compact Digital SLR, especially when used with the new f2.8 25mm pancake lens. It is available for £339 body only, £404 with kit lens, £485 with double zoom kit, and £500 with 25mm lens kit.

"The picture quality is very good and the full feature list is truly impressive. Other makers tend to leave functions out in order to distance the entry level cameras from their posher units – Olympus doesn’t do that. The live view arrangement is almost refined. At least the auto focus works reasonably quickly, but it is not something we would use often."
