Canon EOS 1Ds MK III Digital SLR Review

KenRockwell has reviewed the new Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III Digital SLR in Madagascar - the camera features a full frame 21.1 megapixel CMOS Sensor and dual DIGIC III image processors, 5fps shooting, 19 point AF, EOS sensor cleaning, two Live view modes, a dustproof and waterproof body, it takes compact flash and SDHC memory cards and has a 3" screen. The 1Ds Mark III is available from Amazon:

"The Canon 1Ds Mk III is a pain compared to my Nikons, but for landscape and still work, the images are superior. Its a camera for pros and rich amateurs for use in the studio and in the field. Unless you're loaded, the extra $5,460 spent on a 1Ds Mk III compared to a 5D would buys a lot of first-class lenses, without which the image quality of the 1Ds Mk III will be unrealized."
