Olympus EVOLT E-420 Digital SLR Review

Trusted Reviews have reviewed the new Olympus EVOLT E-420 Digital SLR - the E-420 is an update to the E-410 - it features a new live view auto focus mode, face detection focus, a new 2.7" screen, and is the world's most compact Digital SLR, especially when used with the new f2.8 25mm pancake lens. It is available for £339 body only, £390 with kit lens, £424 with double zoom kit, and £497 with 25mm lens kit.

"There's very little to criticise the overall specification and performance of the E-420. I like it's size - it's ideal for travelling and is reminiscent of my old OM4 in some aspects of its handling. Images are generally good too, with excellent sharpness and detail. Colour is crisp and hough exposures are slightly underexposed to my taste, they do maintain good tonality throughout the range."
