Fujifilm FinePix S100fs Review

The Online Photographer have reviewed the new Fujifilm FinePix S100FS - parts 1, 2 and 3 are here. The FS stands for Film Simulation. The camera features a wide angle 14.3x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation and 28mm-400mm equivalent range, an 11 megapixel sensor, a 2.5" tilt screen, ISO upto 6400 (at 6mp), extended dynamic range, RAW support, multi-bracketing, manual controls, and VGA 30fps video mode. The camera is available for £395:

"My recommendation is "buy, with some reservations." Not if you want a casual camera that will produce top image quality with no unusual effort on your part. I'm willing to go to the extra effort and then the results are impressive. So I finally decided I could embrace this camera, warts and all. In fact, I bought the review unit from Fuji and sold my S6000fd."
