Sanyo S1070

Sanyo were showing the new Sanyo VPC-S1070 in white at Photokina – the camera features a 10 megapixel sensor, 2.4″ screen, 3x optical zoom lens, ISO1600, slim body, digital anti shake and takes AA batteries.

  2. do not buy this camera, I had it for 5 months and for some reason the lens just won’t work, it says lens error 0×04110000 when I’ve done nothing to break it, and it only has a 90 day warranty

  8. I’ve just read that there is a 12 month limited warranty offered by Sanyo. I read this on the MISCO.co.uk site, whose Sanyo S1070 are on offer ATM.

    Anonymous – you may still be in luck! Have another look again at your manuals and get in touch with Sanyo!

  14. My camera lens also quit working after 7 months. I also did nothing to the camera. I will purchase a different brand in the future.

  26. LCD crapped out after 38 days!! 90 warranty! Sanyo said it would be cheaper to buy another!! ARe they Kidding! I could not “get in touch” with sanyo. Only automatted Q&As.

  28. Mine had the lens error, but hold down the scene button and hold down the power button… I don’t know why, but my camera has had this problem several times, and this fixed it!! It’s now working fine!

  50. I have the Sanyo VPC S1070…..Does anyone really no what the 0×04110000 error mean?
    Also how can it be corrected?…i have tried the hold down scene and power botton,this didn’t work.

  52. i have had this camera for a year and a half, i have dealt with several lens errors that mostly were about needing to clean my camera, however this last error was 0×04130000, i have no idea how to fix it and every website i have gone to people just tell me to buy a new one…does anyone else have advice?

  56. Bought this camera Just before Christmas – now I’m getting the same lens error as everone else. should have gotten a Kodak.

    the lens was stuck then it closed – now I only get the lens error. Hey Sanyo, you used to make good products – what happened?

  58. Another diappointed Sanyo s1070 camera buyer with same lens error problem after 3 months. Id never buy Sanyo again and good luck trying to get through to speak to someone at Sanyo
