do not buy this camera, I had it for 5 months and for some reason the lens just won't work, it says lens error 0x04110000 when I've done nothing to break it, and it only has a 90 day warranty

I've just read that there is a 12 month limited warranty offered by Sanyo. I read this on the MISCO.co.uk site, whose Sanyo S1070 are on offer ATM.

Anonymous - you may still be in luck! Have another look again at your manuals and get in touch with Sanyo!

My camera lens also quit working after 7 months. I also did nothing to the camera. I will purchase a different brand in the future.

Mine had the lens error, but hold down the scene button and hold down the power button... I don't know why, but my camera has had this problem several times, and this fixed it!! It's now working fine!
