Olympus EVOLT E-520 Digital SLR Review

Digital Camera HQ have reviewed the new Olympus EVOLT E-520 Digital SLR - an update to the Olympus EVOLT E-510 - it features a 10 megapixel sensor, image stabilisation, face detection, shadow adjustment, dust protection, autofocus live view, 3.5 fps shooting, ISO1600, and a larger 2.7" screen. The E-520 is available for £404 with kit lens or £535 with twin lens kit.

"Where the E-520 truly shines is in collecting all of the features available on the current entry-level dSLR market in a single device, and in doing many of them better than the competition. Where it stumbles is in the basics: image sharpness, detail, and noise control. The Olympus does those things well, but the competition generally does them better."
