Imaging Resource have reviewed the new Canon Powershot E1 – a cute 10 megapixel camera with a 4x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation, 2.5″ screen, face detection, motion detection, 17 shooting modes including Easy Mode, Sunset mode and IS0 3200 mode, optical viewfinder. It is available in white, pink, and blue for £148
“As is typically the case with Canon’s PowerShot line, the E1 performs quite well, with good color and exposure across a broad range of exposure conditions. Color is just about spot-on accurate, with only minor deviations in saturation and hue accuracy.”
