Ken Rockwell reviews the new Canon Digital IXUS 110 IS (aka SD960 IS) – and he also points out that the new 2.8″ widescreen may look great, but that if you’re taking 4:3 aspect ratio photos then the screen size is a tiny 2.3″ – the new ultra compact 12 megapixel camera has a wide angle 28mm 4x optical zoom lens, 2.8″ wide-screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, image stabilisation, HD 16:9 Movies (720p) and HDMI connection. It is available in silver, gold, pink, or blue from £193.

“The SD960’s smallest problem is its tiny 2.3″ (effective) LCD. Not only is it small, the black waste bands on the sides make it tough to see where your picture ends and the dark bands start when composing darker images.” source: Ken Rockwell.
