Vivitar has announced the new Vivitar Vivicam VX018 – it features a 10.1 megapixel sensor, 1.8″ screen, no optical zoom, face detection, and takes 3 AAA battieres. The “Vivitar iTwist X018″ is available from Amazon UK:

Panasonic Lumix FP1, FP2, FP3 Slim Cameras Announced
Panasonic has announced the new 14 megapixel Panasonic Lumix FP1 with 3.0″ touch screen, 14 megapixel FP2 with 2.7″ screen, and 12 megapixel FP3 with 2.7″ screen. The ultra compact cameras all feature a 4x optical zoom lens, 720p HD video recording, face detection, and optical image stabilisation. They are all built of solid, high-quality aluminum, and will be available in the following colors: silver, black and navy for the LUMIX FP3; silver, black, red, blue and (bright) pink for LUMIX FP1 (shown above!).

Panasonic Lumix FH20, FH3, FH1 Pocket Zoom Announced
Panasonic has announced the new 14mp Panasonic Lumix FH20 (aka FS30) and FH22 (aka FS33) with 8x optical zoom lens, and the 14mp FH3 (aka FS11) and 12mp FH1 (aka FS10) with 5x optical zoom lens. The cameras all feature 28mm wide angle lenses, 720p HD video recording, a 2.7″ screen, face detection, and optical image stabilisation. Encased in a brushed metal-finished panel, the FH20 / FS30 will be available in silver, black, red and violet models for £155. The LUMIX FH3 and FH1 will be available in silver and black. The FS33 is the same as the FS30 but adds a 3″ touchscreen, and is available for £159.

Panasonic has announced the new 12mp Panasonic Lumix F3 with 28mm wide-angle 4x optical zoom lens, 720p HD video recording, a 2.7″ screen, face detection, and digital image stabilisation. The camera will be available in silver and black, and supports SD/SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
“The Panasonic LUMIX F3 was designed for the casual and frequent user who wants a digital camera that is not only small and stylish in design, but that has sophisticated features to help enrich the photo-taking experience,” said David Briganti, Senior Product Manager, Imaging, Panasonic Consumer Electronic Company. “With extended zoom and Auto Scene Mode, the Panasonic LUMIX F3 can take high-quality photos and videos, while still being easy-to-use and small enough to fit in your pocket.”
Sony Cybershot S2100 S2000 Budget Cameras Announced
Sony has announced the new Sony Cybershot S2100 (and S2000) – the camera supports both Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD/SDHC memory cards – and features a 12mp sensor (S2100), a 3x optical zoom lens, 3.0″ screen, VGA 30fps video recording, the camera will be available in silver, black or orange from the end of January 2010:
The Sony Cybershot S2000 features a 10 megapixel sensor, a 2.5″ screen and is available in silver or black. Both cameras use AA batteries.
The cameras are so exciting that they aren’t even mentioned in the press release, except for in the specification table at the bottom. Either way, they get my vote for ugliest new camera of 2010 so far!

Sony has announced the new Sony Cybershot TX7 – the camera supports both Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD/SDHC memory cards – the camera features a 10mp Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a 4x optical zoom lens (25-100mm), optical image stabilisation, 3.5″ touchscreen, 1080p HD video, Auto HDR, and Intelligent Sweep Panorama, the camera will be available in three colours Dark Blue, Silver, and Red (looks more like Pink to me?):
