Sony has announced the new Sony Cybershot HX5 – the camera supports both Memory Stick PRO Duo and SD/SDHC memory cards – the camera features a 10mp Exmor R back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a wide angle 10x optical zoom lens (25-250mm), optical image stabilisation, 3.0″ screen, 1080p HD video, Auto HDR, Intelligent Sweep Panorama, Compass and GPS, the camera is available in black and gold for £289:

Casio has announced the new Casio Exilim EX-FH100 – the camera features a 10 megapixel back-illuminated CMOS sensor, a wide angle 10x optical zoom lens (24mm-240mm), 40fps shooting, 1000fps video mode, 3.0″ screen, 720p HD video recording, and anti shake sensor. It is available in silver and black for £263:
