Very interested 5in a replacement for my trusty Panasonic TZ5. Can anyone tell me if the it is possible to use the zoom while videoing or does it have to pause to zoom in or out each time?

Also I am at a loss to quite understand the GPS function. I am aware that it will pinpoint where you took the photo, but is that retrospectively or will it tell you where you are as you take it? The second would be a great feature in places like Cyprus where I am going soon.
