This is a DX Format camera with the F-Mount so all current DX lens will fit. This is an awesome camera and is very fast with a 7fps and can be upped to 8fps when adding the battery grip. The two storage cards have come in very useful for me and it my friends wedding recently, found to be very versatile. For those who like their presets such as sports, AUTO (shame on you) and portrait, no dials for these - remember it's aiming for those semi pro types.. As of writing this the D7000 has just been announced, but this is meant to be an upgrade from D90 so yes, 1080p movies and better CMOS sensor but the D300s still have the speed and other factors which makes it more appealing.
