Olympus America has details of the new Olympus T-100 – a compact 12 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom lens, 2.4″ screen, intelligent AUTO mode, digital image stabilisation, SD/SDHC support, VGA video, and uses lithium-ion batteries. The camera is available for £89 from Tesco Direct or Amazon UK in Black, Silver, Red or Blue.

The T-100 has some great features to make taking photos easier including advanced face detection of up to 16 persons for perfectly focused and exposed faces, intelligent auto mode which detects the 5 most commonly used scenes and adjusts settings, focus and exposure automatically, digital image stabilisation for reduced blur and AF tracking to keep your subject sharp even if they move. Other features include a 2.4″ LCD screen and video recording with sound. Compatible with SD/SDHC memory cards and includes a rechargable Li-ion battery.”
