Nikon Coolpix S80 Compact Announced

Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix S80 – available in black or red (or more colours depending on location) – the camera features a large 3.5″ OLED touch screen, 5x optical zoom lens with lens-shift vibration reduction (35-175mm), 14 megapixel sensor, 720p video, multi-touch screen, USB or AC charging, HDMI output, and 150 shot battery life.

Nikon Coolpix P7000 Announced

Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix P7000 – it features a wide angle 7.1x optical zoom lens (28-200mm, ED, with Vibration Reduction), 10 megapixel sensor, optical viewfinder, 3″ screen with 921K pixels, 720p HD Video recording with stereo sound, manual controls, RAW support, ISO3200, electronic virtual horizon (aka spirit level), 350 shot battery life and SD/SDHC/SDXC card support.
