From the random highlights department: A Leica M9 (M8?) with the ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 35-100mm F2.0 43rds lens. Carl Zeiss were demonstrating their lenses, including the tiny lens found in the Nokia N97 Mini, and the new Nokia N8 (seemed to be the closest you could get to it at the show). The Photokina globe, the world’s largest photo globe made from photos from around the world. AgfaPhoto film cameras could be found. CADnetwork.de were demonstrating their impressive ProViz T92 GPU Rendering system – using four NVIDIA graphics cards it offered 10x the performance compared to CPU systems. Some other models 😉 that might be of interest from: Hasselblad, FIAT, and, um, Playboy.

Kodak seemed uninterested in showing their new cameras, such as the Kodak Easyshare M590, despite the huge show size, and it felt like you were better off finding them elsewhere, on resellers stands, although they were displaying their camera products, they were much more interested in showing other things.
