Sealife Mini II
Sealife has announced the new Sealife Mini II (Sealife SL330 Camera) – a new waterproof camera available in March – it features a built in flash, is waterproof to 130 feet (40 meters!), is shockproof, and has a 9 megapixel CMOS sensor, VGA / 30fps Video mode with Sound, rubber body, 2.4″ screen, and takes SD/SDHC cards, as well as using 2 AAA batteries. The camera will work with external flashes, and wide-angle lens adapters.

Sanyo VPC S1414 Black
DPExpert has reviewed the Sanyo VPC S1414, it’s a budget camera that features a 14 megapixel sensor, wide angle 4x optical zoom lens (28mm), 2.7″ screen (230k pixels), 720p HD video at 30fps, SD/SDHC support, ISO100 to 6400, and takes AA batteries.

“Image quality is good as long as the ISO speed is kept to 200. Resolution and sharpness are good. Colour is a bit hit and miss when using auto white balance.”

Olympus T10
Pixmania are selling the Olympus T-10 for only £39 – one of the cheapest Olympus digital cameras – it features a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom lens (36 – 108mm), a 2.4″ screen, electronic image stabilisation, ISO1600, VGA video (30fps) with sound, AA batteries, SD/SDHC support, and magic filters. The Olympus T-10 is available in silver or black.

Olympus PEN EPL2
ePhotoZine, Photography BLOG, Pocket-Lint, SteveHuffPhoto.com and DPReview has reviewed the new Olympus PEN E-PL2 Micro Four Thirds camera – it features a new live guide for movies, new design available in red, silver, black and white, with new body grip, updated 3″ 460k pixel screen, a new “live wheel” (control wheel on the back), new 14-42mm Zoom II lens (designed to be quicker and quieter for videos), and the ability to mix art filters. The E-PL2 also features a new accessory port 2 (backwards compatible with earlier accessories), the new port supports new accessories such as the Macro Arm Light, and “PENpal” blue-tooth module.

The Olympus PEN E-PL2 features a 12.3mp sensor, anti-shake sensor, dust reduction sensor, 11 point focus, manual focus, multi-exposure, ISO200-6400, 3fps shooting, built in flash, HD video (720p, 30fps), RAW support, manual controls, 280 shot battery life, lithium-ion battery, HDMI out and SD/SDHC/SDXC memory card support. The Olympus PEN E-PL2 is available for £499 with kit lens.

Megxon X57nv Night Vision Digital Camera
Megxon (X57nv), Yashica (NV-1), and others (Ablecam, Bell + Howell S7 Slim, etc) are selling a new Night Camera, with built in infrared LEDs enabling Night Vision still photography and video, the budget camera features a 5.0 Mega Pixels CMOS Sensor, 2.7″ screen, fixed lens (equivalent to 40mm), built in flash, 720×480 and VGA 30fps video, SD/SDHC memory card support, lithium ion battery, and is available from £40 from ChinaVision or ebay etc

Nikon Coolpix L23 – 10mp, wide angle 5x optical zoom (28mm), 2.7″ screen, AA.
Nikon Coolpix L24 (USA) – 14mp, 3.6x optical zoom, 3″ screen, AA.
Nikon Coolpix S2500 – 12mp, 4x optical zoom (27mm wide), 2.7″ screen.
Nikon Coolpix S3100 – 14mp, 5x optical zoom (26mm wide), 2.7″ screen.
Nikon Coolpix S4100 – 14mp, 5x optical zoom (26mm wide), 3″ screen.

Nikon Coolpix L120
Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix L120 with wide-angle 21x optical zoom lens (25-525mm), 14.1 megapixel sensor, 3″ 921k pixel screen, anti-shake sensor, 720p HD movies with stereo sound and optical zoom, 1cm macro mode, and AA batteries. Nikon has published sample photos and videos. The Nikon Coolpix L120 is available for £249 from Amazon UK from February.

Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix P500 with 36x optical zoom lens, the most zoom in any camera, since the 35x optical zoom Canon Powershot SX30 IS (not that anyones playing a numbers game…), the P500 features an ultra wide angle 36x optical zoom lens (22.5mm to 810mm equivalent), 3″ 921k pixel swivel screen, P/S/A/M exposure modes, 8fps shooting, 12.1 megapixel back illuminated CMOS sensor, 1080p HD movies with stereo sound with optical zoom, Slow and fast motion movie recording, 360°/180° Easy Panorama mode, 1cm macro, and will be available in black or red. Nikon has published sample photos and videos. The Nikon Coolpix P500 is available for £399 from Amazon UK from the beginning of March.

Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix P300 with f1.8 – f4.9 wide angle 4.2x optical zoom lens (24-100mm), and 12.2 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor (albeit not as large as the sensor in cameras such like the LX5, and XZ-1), Exposure Modes (P/S/A/M), Full (1080p) HD movie recording with stereo sound, 3″ 921k-dot LCD monitor, Lens-shift Vibration Reduction, Easy Panorama 360°/180° and High-speed continuous shooting (8fps). Nikon has published sample photos and videos. The Nikon Coolpix P300 is available for £299 from Amazon UK from March.

Nikon has announced the new Nikon Coolpix S9100, it joins the Samsung WB700, and Olympus SZ-10, with a wide angle 18x optical zoom lens, it also features a 12 megapixel back-lit CMOS sensor, 25-450mm zoom range, 1080p HD video with zoom, 3″ 921k pixel screen, Slow and fast motion movie recording, 360°/180° Easy Panorama mode, High-speed continuous shooting at approx. 9.5fps, 4cm macro, anti-shake sensor, and will be available in black, silver, red or gold (depending on region). Nikon has published sample photos and videos. The Nikon Coolpix S9100 is available for £299 from Amazon UK from March.
