Panasonic Lumix FZ45

ePHOTOzine has reviewed the new Panasonic Lumix FZ45 (aka FZ40) vs the Panasonic Lumix FZ100, both cameras feature a 25mm Wide-angle 24x Optical Zoom lens (25-600mm), HD Movie in AVCHD Lite with Creative Movie Mode, iA (Intelligent Auto) Mode with POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), Intelligent Resolution Technology and 32x Intelligent Zoom, Intuitive Manual Control and Creative Option Featuring My Color Mode, and 14 megapixel sensor. The FZ100 features a swivel screen, flash hot-shoe, full HD video, and 11fps shooting. The Panasonic Lumix FZ45 is available for £247 and the FZ100 is available for £329.

“Both of the cameras on test here take excellent pictures in ideal conditions, including at both ends of the lens and macro. The noise performance at ISO800 and ISO1600 does let the DMC-FZ100 down but both cameras are absolutely packed with features.”
