Panasonic Lumix 3D1Panasonic has announced a new compact 3D camera, the Panasonic Lumix 3D1, it features two wide angle 4x optical zoom lenses (25-100mm), two 12 megapixel MOS sensors, and a large touch screen on the back. The screen on the back isn’t 3D, but the two sensors let you video and take photos at the same time. The camera will be available from December 2011. Press Release here.

1. Polar environments are very dry and extremely cold. Your equipment will become easily susceptible to any additional moisture in the atmosphere. This will cause problems if you retreat from the cold into a warm environment (e.g. a tent), breathe on your camera, or trap air in it with a filter or a lens cap.
