VistaQuest, makers of the “Toy Camera” / “Digital Lomo” VistaQuest VQ1015 Entry, used for it’s vignetting and bright saturated colours, has shown a new VistaQuest Concept camera on their website. There are no details, but it could be the next version of their camera, the VQ1015 R3 they’ve been testing on their facebook page.

ePhotoZine and The Online Photographer has reviewed the new Canon Powershot S95 – an update to the S90 – it features the HS System and f/2.0, 3.8x optical zoom lens, a High-sensitivity 10.0 MP CCD, 28 mm wide angle, Hybrid IS, Lens Control Ring, Full Manual controls and RAW, 3″ screen, 720p HD movies, High Dynamic Range mode, Smart Auto, Multi-Aspect Shooting, and ISO3200. Nikon Coolpix P7100 Reviews
NeoCamera has reviewed the new Nikon Coolpix P7100 – the serious compact camera from Nikon features a 7x optical zoom lens with optical image stabilisation (vibration reduction / VR), 3 inch tilting screen, manual controls, RAW, and a larger than normal 10 megapixel CCD sensor.

Ricoh CX6 Pocket Zoom Review
ePHOTOzine has reviewed the new Ricoh CX6, an update to the CX5, it has a 10 megapixel backlit CMOS sensor, 10.7x optical zoom lens, 3 inch high resolution screen, 5fps shooting, HDR mode, adds A/S manual controls, and improved high speed focusing with a response time of just 0.1 seconds. According to the review, it is actually as quick as it says it is! The Ricoh CX6 is available in black, silver or pink for £259.

Best Digital Cameras of 2012
With the new year almost upon us, we’re ready for the latest and greatest technology. Here are some cameras that you should keep your eye out for in 2012.
LYTRO Camera
Lytro is coming out with a handy, lightweight camera for shooting on the go. The micro-lens paired with a special sensor collects all the light from a landscape, allowing you to capture immaculate detail of the scene. All you have to do is press a button to capture the color. V.I.O. POV.HD Camera
This mounted camera has the fast shutter speed to capture an action-packed scene. With this gadget you can not only capture the landscape from your helmet, but you can use the handheld ability too. Flexible and rugged, this camera is going for about $600 a pop, and gives a 142 degree Field Of View. For more information have a look at the VIO website.
BenQ AE100 AC100 P1410 E1465 GH600 GH700
BenQ has announced an updated range of 6 new digital cameras, including the BenQ AE100, shown above, and a number of other digital cameras, including a 21x optical zoom lens ultra zoom available with a Sony 16 megapixel CCD sensor in the GH600, or a Sony 16 megapixel Backlit CMOS sensor in the GH700. The rest of the range features 14 megapixel Panasonic CCD sensors. It would be interesting if they told us who made all the other components in the cameras 😉

Kids Cameras: VTech Toy Story 3, Lego Camera
Toy Story 3 Buzz Lightyear – Read our review – 2 megapixel digital camera with big handles, a built in flash, made for kids, it takes four AA batteries and lets you put Toy Story characters on your pictures from the film, such as Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Wendy and the others. Lego Digital Camera – Read our review – (Camera made by Blue) features a 3 megapixel sensor, 1.5″ screen, and flash. The camera has a built in rechargeable battery that charges through a USB cable – and 128mb 32mb of built in memory that will store upto 80 photos, although our testing found it was more like 65 – 75 photos, and there is no video mode available. The camera is available for £39 from Amazon UK.
Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR Reviews
ePHOTOzine has reviewed the new Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR, an update to the F550, it has enhanced GPS navigation with augmented reality landmark navigator, as well as a wide angle 15x optical zoom lens, 3 inch screen, EXR CMOS sensor for high sensitivity and low noise, as well as expanded dynamic range. It also offers full HD video, and 8fps shooting at full resolution. Here’s what they had to say:
“The Fujifilm FinePix F600EXR is a good incremental update to the F550 EXR and still packs everything into a compact body and does so at a significantly lower price than the competition. With a wide angle 15x optical zoom lens, a large 3inch screen and built in GPS, the compact camera would make a great travel companion, especially as it’s one of the smallest pocket zooms available with GPS.”
