Fujifilm skipped Full-Frame to reach for Medium Format when they launched their GFX system with the 50S. Less than two years later, they created a more compact version with exactly the same class-leading sensor while maintaining the entire feature set. The new GFX-50R is styled like a hybrid rangefinder digital camera, complete with a built-in EVF in the corner.

The Fujfilm GFX-50R is built around a 50 megapixels CMOS sensor with ISO 50-102400 sensitivity range. It offers a hybrid shutter that supports timed exposures from 1/16000s to an hour. This mirrorless can shoot continuously at 3 FPS and capture 1080p HD video from its very large 0.8X-crop sensor.

A full-review of the Fujifilm GFX-50R was just published at Neocamera. Check out the detailed coverage of this camera, showing exactly how it performs and compares to its predecessor.
