Nikon D90 Digital SLR with Video Announced

Nikon have announced the new 12.3 megapixel Nikon D90 Digital SLR - the camera features a 3" screen, live view, 720p High Definition video recording, ISO upto 6400, 11 point AF, and 4.5fps shooting. The D90 will be available in the US from September 2008 at an MSRP of $999.95 for body only and $1299.95 for body and new AF-S DX Zoom-NIKKOR 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR lens.

Canon EOS 50D Digital SLR Announced

Canon have announced the new Canon EOS 50D Digital SLR - an update to the 40D - it features a new 15.1 megapixel sensor, 6.3fps shooting, Canon’s latest DIGIC 4 image processor, ISO upto 12800, 3" screen with live view, sensor cleaning, 9 point AF, and face detection. Body only will be available from end of September 2008 priced at £1199.99:

Olympus have announced the new Olympus Mju Stylus 1050SW - the ultra compact 10 megapixel camera is waterproof to 3m, shockproof to 1.5m, freezeproof to -10c, and features a 3x optical zoom lens, face detection, shadow adjustment, perfect shot preview, and 2.7" screen. It will be available in black, gold, silver, pink and blue from September.

Ricoh.co.jp have quietly announced the new Ricoh R10 - an update to the Ricoh R8 - the camera features a new hand grip, a larger high resolution 3" screen, a new easy mode, a new auto level feature, new function button, and the same specifications as the R8, such as 10 megapixel sensor, 7.1x wide angle zoom, 1cm macro, anti-shake sensor and ISO1600. The camera is available in Japan only, in Bronze, Silver and Black.

Fujifilm FinePix J100, J110w, J120, J150W

Fujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix J100, J110W, J120, J150W - all cameras feature a 10 megapixel sensor, ISO upto 3200 (at 3mp), the FinePix J110W and J150W offer a wide angle range of 28mm-140mm, while the FinePix J100 and J120 range is 35mm to 175mm. The FinePix J100 and J110W have a 2.7" LCD screen and the FinePix J150W and J120 offer the bigger 3" LCD screen. The FinePix J100, J110W, J120, J150W will be available from September.

Fujifilm FinePix S2000fd Announced

Sony Cybershot T77 Announced

Sony have announced the new 10 megapixel Sony Cybershot T77 - the ultra compact camera features a 3" touch screen, a 4x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, and smile shutter. The DSC-T77 camera replaces the former T70 model and will be available in brown, green, pink, black and silver in late September for about $300.

The camera will be available in red, champagne gold, pink, dark gray and silver for about $400.

Nikon have announced the new 13.5 megapixel Nikon Coolpix P6000 - it features a wide angle 4x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, a 2.7" screen, RAW support, manual controls, external flash support, manual focus, GPS support, and an optical viewfinder:

Micro Four Thirds Camera System Announced

Panasonic and Olympus have announced a revolutionary new camera system that will enable Digital SLR quality photos to be taken with compact cameras with interchangeable lenses. The new system removes the standard mirror box in a Digital SLR, allows the use of new Micro Four Thirds lenses, and Olympus lenses with an adapter, and should provide video recording in the future:

" Olympus Imaging Corporation (Olympus Imaging) and Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (Panasonic) today announced joint development of technologies and devices for the "Micro Four Thirds System standard," a new standard that extends the benefits of the Four Thirds System standard for interchangeable lens type digital camera systems by enabling dramatic reductions in size and weight. Kodak Easyshare C913 Announced

Kodak have (quietly) announced the new Kodak Easyshare C913 - a budget 9 megapixel digital camera with a 3x optical zoom lens, 2.4" screen, VGA video at 15fps, digital blur reduction mode, and ISO upto 1000. The camera will be available in black, silver, pink and purple. The camera's predecessor, the C813, is available for £59 from Amazon.

Pentax Optio E60 Announced

Pentax have announced the Pentax Optio E60 - a new high resolution, budget digital camera - the camera features a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom, a 2.4" screen, AA batteries, face detection focus, and ISO upto 6400:

Samsung TL34HD TL9 SL202 S1070 Announced

Samsung have announced 5 new digital cameras today - including a new 14.7 megapixel digital camera called the NV100HD / TL34HD. The TL9 / NV9 features a battery and memory card "empty / full" meters. Although they haven't yet updated their website - so there's no information there about them. Details can be found below, and all over the web:

Casio Exilim EX-Z150 Announced

Casio have announced the new Casio Exilim EX-Z150 - it features a wide angle 28mm 4x optical zoom lens, an 8 megapixel sensor, a 3" screen, face detection focus, and an anti-shake CCD shift sensor. It's also extremely thin being only 21mm thick:

Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS Announced

Kodak have announced the new Kodak Easyshare M1093 IS digital camera - it features a 10 megapixel sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, 3" screen, HD video and photo support, and ISO upto 3200. The M1093 IS will be avilable in silver, black and red for £129.99 (RRP) from September 2008.

Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS Announced

Kodak have announced the new Kodak Easyshare Z1015 IS - it features a wide angle 15x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, high ISO upto 6400, a 10 megapixel sensor, and HDTV support. The Z1015 IS will be available from October 2008 at £199.99 (RRP):

Nikon D700 Full Frame DSLR Announced

Nikon have announced the new FX-format digital SLR Nikon D700 - a 12 megapixel full frame sensor Digital SLR with live view, ISO 200 to 6400, 5fps shooting, sensor cleaning, a 3" VGA screen and more. It will be available in July:
