It took some trial and error before we settled on the N setting and decided it was best to let the camera make the decisions, even if it does mean occasionally hitting ISO levels too high for clean pictures. As a simple point and shoot we rate the F60fd as commendable."

It has some useful features including semi-manual exposure, but the limited zoom range is a bit restrictive compared to its main competition. It has phenomenal low-light focusing ability, but unfortunately it doesn’t have the high-ISO image quality to match."

Fujifilm were showing the full range of Fujifilm FinePix digital cameras including the new S2000hd - an update to the S1000fd - it features a wide angle 15x optical zoom lens, 10 megapixel sensor, HD recording (1280 x 720 pixels video) and output, it comes with a remote control and cable, a 2.7" screen, ISO 1600, image stabilisation, and manual mode. The FinePix S2000HD is available for £199.

Fujifilm have announced the new Fujifilm FinePix F60fd - an update to the F50fd - the camera features a 12 megapixels sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, image stabilisation sensor, ISO 1600, new 3" screen, face detection, and scene recognition mode. The FinePix F60fd will be available from September 2008.
