The camera has a pleasant enough build, is small and easy to use and produces pretty reasonable results, especially considering the price and target audience. While there's some issues surrounding the image quality, for the most part it is good enough for an entry level user to take pictures that they will be more than happy with."

"The bottom line on the G2 is that it's a perfectly competent little camera so long as you stick to basic picture-taking situations, avoid the device's questionably functional gimmickry, and don't demand too much from the AF system. While its performance didn't tend to wow us, the same could be said for many of the cameras we test."
