However, behind the eye-catching, feminine appearance there lurks a decent camera. The touch screen goes beyond the gimmicky into the seriously useful, but we’re not sure that we could live with a camera that always looks smudgy with finger prints."

Sony have announced the new 10 megapixel Sony Cybershot T700 - the ultra compact camera features a 3.5" touch screen, 4gb of internal memory, a 4x optical zoom lens with image stabilisation, and smile shutter. The camera will be available in red, champagne gold, pink, dark gray and silver for about $400.
