"The quality of images shot with the TL34 were a mixed bag. Outdoor performance was better than indoor performance. Shooting with the built-in flash yielded a variety of results from good images to ones that were washed out. Noise was a problem with indoor photos as well as with images captured at light sensitivity settings over 400."

"The Samsung TL34HD is somewhat of a mixed bag. While it offers some Very "cool" features, good image quality, fast performance, and loads of exposure options, the High ISO noise, above average amounts of CA, and the difficult to use touch screen system really bring this camera down."

"We found the TL34HD a pleasure to use. Its interface was excellent, the touch-screen functioned far better than most of the competition, and it scored very well in the majority of our tests, especially white balance. Retailing at $299 makes it quite a bargain for a touch-screen camera."

Samsung have announced 5 new digital cameras today - including a new 14.7 megapixel digital camera called the NV100HD / TL34HD. The TL9 / NV9 features a battery and memory card "empty / full" meters.
