Today is the last day of Focus On Imaging 2013 – so if you’re keen to get a last minute bargain and can make it there – then there are a number of offers available from retailers with Focus On Imaging show prices! Including the Nikon D600 for £1099 refurbished body only, a number of Panasonic Micro Four Thirds cameras and lenses for great prices, and offers on memory cards and more…

There were some of the big camera companies, including Canon, Nikon, and Fujifilm, with few other camera companies including Sigma and Minox, although you could see a number of lenses from the likes of Tokina, Carl Zeiss, Tamron, Sigma, Samyang, and bags and tripods from Manfrotto, Giottos, Gitzo, 3 Legged Thing, and others (Cullmann, Triopos, Benro etc). More tripods than you can shake a stick at?

ePhotozine, Ken Rockwell, Steve Huff Photos, PhotoRadar, and Pocket-Lint, have all reviewed the new Nikon D3100 Digital SLR – it features a 14.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, Full HD Video: 1920 x 1080 24fps recording, 3″ screen with live-view, 3fps shooting, and new kit lens with optical Vibration Reduction: the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR. Panasonic Lumix GH2
Panasonic were showing their new Panasonic Lumix GH2 Micro Four Thirds Digital SLR at Photokina 2010 – we had a look at the new camera – shown here with a number of different lenses. The GH2 features a 16.05 megapixel sensor, 5 fps shooting at full resolution, Venus Engine FHD, 1920 x 1080 50i Full-HD Movies in AVCHD Format, Intuitive Touch-control Shooting and Double Live View, 3D Shooting Compatible, Artistic Images with My Color Mode, Film Mode and Variable Movie Mode, Advanced Intelligent Resolution Technology, Intelligent D-Range Control, 16:9, 3:2, and 4:3 aspect ratio and a 3″ rotating screen. The Panasonic Lumix GH2 will be available from Amazon UK

Panasonic Lumix GH2 Back

The GH2 was announced with a new 14mm pancake lens, and 12.5mm 3D lens, and ISO goes all the way upto 12800. The back of the camera features Live-Viewfinder / LCD button, diopter correction, eye-detection, playback button, AF/AE lock, control wheel, Quick Menu, Display, 4-way controls with ISO, Function 2, White Balance, Function 3, Menu / Set buttons and delete / preview buttons.

Panasonic Lumix GH2 Touchscreen Controls

The touch screen lets you see the mode, remaining shots, battery life, and lets you set WB, ISO, AF, Metering, Intelligent Contrast, Flash, Image size, Compression, Shooting mode (single, continuous etc), Intelligent Resolution, Film mode, and Exposure compensation.
