VistaQuest, makers of the “Toy Camera” / “Digital Lomo” VistaQuest VQ1015 Entry, used for it’s vignetting and bright saturated colours, has shown a new VistaQuest Concept camera on their website. There are no details, but it could be the next version of their camera, the VQ1015 R3 they’ve been testing on their facebook page.

Lego Digital Camera – Read our review – (Camera made by Blue) features a 3 megapixel sensor, 1.5″ screen, and flash. The camera has a built in rechargeable battery that charges through a USB cable – and 128mb 32mb of built in memory that will store upto 80 photos, although our testing found it was more like 65 – 75 photos, and there is no video mode available. The camera is available for £39 from Amazon UK.
The Pocket Square Camera by Photojojo
Photojojo are selling the new Pocket Square digital camera – an ultra compact camera that fits on a keyring, it features a 1.5 megapixel sensor and takes square photos, it also has a video mode (without sound), macro switch, microSD support, and built in lithium ion battery that is charged via USB. The camera has additional filters for a vintage, lo-fi look: vivid, noise, and monochrome. Or for something slightly higher tech, have a look at the new 2 megapixel, f2.8 lens “Mr Digital Clover” keychain camera.

Chobi Cam 1 – Worlds Lightest Digital Camera
JTT are selling the new Chobi Cam One, it’s an ultra compact 2 megapixel digital camera with inter-changeable lenses. It’s available with a 0.5x wide angle, a 2.0x telephoto, standard lens, and fish eye. It also records VGA videos at 30fps, and takes microSDHC cards, yet only weighs 12g. (via Trusted Reviews)
Pentax Optio NB1000 Nanoblock Camera
Pentax (Japan) has announced the new Pentax Optio NB1000 – a “nanoblock” (like lego, only smaller) version of the Pentax Optio RS1000 – it’s available in Safari green, or classic white, and specs are the same: 14mp, wide 4x optical zoom lens (28-110mm), 3″ screen, 720p HD video, etc. (via RiceHigh Blog – also spotted – Two NB1000s stuck together: 3D Anyone?)
